As Artificial intelligence continues to reshape the landscape of higher education, integrating generative AI tools into teaching practices offers unprecedented opportunities to enhance student learning experiences.
This panel brings together four faculty members from different disciplines, including Lesley A. Baradel, Moinak Choudhury, Dr. Rodrigo Borela Valente and Dr. Tatiana Rudchenko, to share their insights into and practical strategies for using AI in more effective instruction and student engagement. It aims to inspire participants to rethink their approaches to teaching in the AI-powered future.

ABOUT THE PANELISTS
Lesley A. Baradel, MBA, MS, RDN, LD, FAND is a lecturer at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she teaches courses on the scientific foundations of health related to genetics, the environment, and personal behaviors and how these impact our wellness.
Lesley holds a Master of Science in Health Sciences with a concentration in Nutrition from Georgia State University, a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing Strategy from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Administration from Vanderbilt University. She is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and a certified Digital Wellness Trainer and CliftonStrengths Facilitator.
Lesley is actively involved in integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into education, with a focus on pedagogical frameworks that enhance student learning. She developed C.A.P.E.R.S., an AI prompting framework designed to help educators create AI-driven coursework while maintaining strong pedagogical principles.
As a member of the Georgia Tech AI Steering Committee, Lesley contributes to Georgia Tech’s strategic vision for the responsible integration of AI in academic, research, and operational functions, helping shape the future of AI-enhanced learning at the institution.
Moinak Choudhury is a Lecturer in the Writing and Communication Program (WCP) at Georgia Tech. He previously served as an Assistant Director and Marion L. Brittain Postdoctoral Fellow in the WCP. He teaches technical communication for CS and CM majors through a community-based learning approach.
Dr. Rodrigo Borela Valente is a lecturer in the Online Master of Science in Computer Science.
Dr. Tatiana Rudchenko is a multi-award-winning educator and Senior Lecturer at Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business, specializing in quantitative analysis and management statistics. She has transformed instruction in MGT 2250 and 2255 by integrating Generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Excel modeling, and video-based quizzes, boosting engagement and learning outcomes. Honored with awards including the Linda and Lloyd L. Byars Scheller Teaching Award and the Institution’s Curriculum Innovation Award, she also mentors PhD students, supports new faculty, and presents at leading teaching conferences. Dr. Rudchenko’s work bridges innovation and student well-being, preparing learners for success in AI-driven business environments.
